Deposit & Payment Schedule
An initial deposit equal to the first tuition installment is due at the time of registration. The deposit will be applied to the student’s first scheduled tuition installment and is required to reserve enrollment.
Annual tuition is divided into eleven (11) equal tuition installments. The first installment is due as a non-refundable deposit at registration. The remaining ten (10) installments are automatically charged on the last calendar day of each month beginning July 31, with the final installment charged on April 30. Tuition installments are equal and are not based on the number of school days or attendance days in any particular month.
If a payment is declined or otherwise unsuccessful, Afterschool University/Flip Academy may automatically retry the payment using the payment method on file. The parent or guardian remains responsible for all tuition owed, regardless of whether automatic payment is successful.
Tuition Commitment
Enrollment is reserved for the full school year unless withdrawn in accordance with this policy.
Written notice of withdrawal must be received at least thirty-one (31) calendar days before the student’s last day of attendance.
Withdrawal requests with a last day of attendance on or after April 1 will not be accepted. By attending the program on or after April 1, the parent or guardian agrees to pay all remaining tuition installments for the current school year.
Refund Policy
Tuition installments are based on annual tuition divided into equal payments and are not prorated based on the number of school days attended in any month.
All deposits and tuition payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
No credits or refunds will be issued for absences, vacations, illness, school closures, holidays, or days not attended unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved in writing by Afterschool University/Flip Academy.
Camps & Classes
Cancellations, Credits & Refunds
Cancellation requests must be received at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the scheduled start date.
If timely canceled:
- Program credits will be issued for the full amount paid. Credits do not expire and may be applied toward future eligible programs.
- Refunds are available upon request, less a $50 processing fee per registration item canceled.
- Approved refunds may take up to thirty (30) days to process.
No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days before the program start date unless otherwise required by applicable law.
